Last year we saw a rise in the number of companies who needed to quickly pivot from traditional on-premise to cloud-based products, with an increased need for hardware capable of delivering services remotely. While this year should continue to see businesses and organisations continue in this vein, there’s no doubt about the fact that in a post-pandemic world, the technology sector will carry on growing as the economy digitises at a rapid rate.

Making Good Things Great

We believe in making good things great. That’s why on top of maintaining the already exceptional operational support we provide to our customers, our first priority this year is to enhance our service offering. 

To that end, our Operations department has been reviewing its processes and realigning with best practices in preparation for the launch of our HUGE, excuse the pun, Digitalisation Programme.

This programme is intended to improve efficiencies, and support and change the landscape with regards to our customer experience. Given the key focus on customer experience in our business, we have painstakingly designed a sophisticated and intuitive digitalisation programme that will be accompanied by our newly developed Customer Portal. 

The portal is, essentially, a software-engineered IoT solution – a “Keep Alive” solution, if you will, that provides customers with unmatched device and network management functionality. This includes geo-mapping, ring fencing, and a strong reporting engine to allow for reports on GSM network as well as device performance. Some of the portal’s functionality will require optional software development on behalf of the customer, and we are thrilled that several of our larger corporate customers have already embarked on this journey with us. 

While the portal is currently in Beta testing, we expect its functionality to provide both our corporate and enterprise customers with the ability to seamlessly manage and report on the various service layers provided by Huge Connect.

Connected Communication

Not satisfied with launching a revolutionary layer to the top-notch customer experience you can expect from Huge Connect, we are also taking the time this year to focus on expanding our standard and advanced communication offerings. Our aim is for our communication solutions and services to cater for any application, at any geographical location and for any size business – from SMME to Enterprise. 

These communication offerings include the provision of: 

  • PoS Connectivity that enables secure data communications to ensure your business can transact reliably and securely.
  • Reliable Online Connectivity, optimised to suit the size and nature of your business.
  • Voice Solutions, including hosted, managed PBX, SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) business telecommunication services, and fixed voice solutions based on mobile GSM voice technology.
  • Advanced firewall solutions. 

 

Last year proved that the Covid-19 pandemic will continue to impact our lives in many ways in the years to come.
